Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Assist with procedures such as IV starts, central line dressings, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic documentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Float to other pediatric units such as Peds and NICU as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience.
- Current PALs certification.
- Ability to work night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift.
- Must be able to work 3 shifts per week.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pediatric critical care procedures.
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
