Key Responsibilities

• Perform, evaluate, and correlate laboratory test procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Assist in the selection and evaluation of laboratory test methods.
• Participate in the education and ongoing professional development of laboratory staff, students, and new employees.
• Support routine administrative and technical functions within the laboratory.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist during times of staffing shortages or increased workload.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), or
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• Eligible for certification as an MLT or MLS with ASCP or equivalent.
• Entry-level candidates considered.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
