• Night shift, temporary travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the operating room setting during night shifts.
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the surgical team and patient needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and organizational policies.
• Demonstrate effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with crisis management as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification from AHA preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of perioperative standards and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience.
• Experience working in surgical or perioperative areas.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle on-call responsibilities.
