Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient treatment and care activities.
• Document treatment notes and patient progress according to regulatory standards.
• Support department maintenance and participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences.
• Help with cleaning and maintaining treatment areas.
• Follow physician treatment plans for patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff for caregiver training and discharge preparation.
• Communicate patient progress and any issues with supervisors and healthcare team members.
• Participate in staff training and in-service programs.
• Educate patients' families and nursing staff on maintenance and caregiver training.
• Report equipment problems for proper maintenance.
• Maintain positive, effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Proficiency in computer systems such as Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ongoing compliance with state continuing education requirements.
• Ability to relate positively and professionally with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a healthcare or therapy setting preferred.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation or patient care procedures.
