Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for ophthalmology patients in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and care
• Support surgical team during ophthalmic procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus in ophthalmology or related surgical specialties
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
• Active RN license in the state of South Carolina

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an outpatient surgery center or ophthalmology setting
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and potential cross-unit floating if needed
