Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents in a safe, caring, and efficient manner according to established standards, procedures, and individual care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following nursing standards of practice.
• Update and document care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to nursing care.
• Supervise assigned staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive environment for team engagement and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid licensure for LVN / LPN in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Basic nursing skills with knowledge of medication effects, side effects, and therapeutic measures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform required tasks.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Familiarity with resident care documentation and care plan updates.
