• Full-time, Days shifts, 26-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner system.
• Float within all areas of the Emergency Department as needed, maintaining flexibility and teamwork.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including patient safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or appropriate state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI certifications prior to start date.
• Experience in Level 2 trauma centers and high-volume EDs preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate teamwork and coaching skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with HCA or similar large hospital systems.
• Knowledge of advanced procedures and working with diverse or multicultural patient populations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to department needs.
