Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for individuals on IMC, PCU, and stepdown units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including neuro and trauma patients.
• Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, chest tubes, and PCA pumps.
• Follow unit protocols for neuro and spinal checks, and assist with procedures like cervical collar placement and brace application.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (Cerner).

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Neuro and trauma care experience preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in every-other-weekend rotation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro and spinal checks, trauma, and critical care procedures.
• Prior experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units is highly desirable.
