Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel (13-week contract), day shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care on a telemetry unit, including patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Manage chest tubes, drains, and other orthopedic surgical trauma procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines
• Document patient care using electronic medical records (Meditech)
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1+ year of nursing experience, preferably in a trauma or orthopedic setting
• Chest tube management skills
• Flexibility and strong time management skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Trauma unit experience
• Experience with lines and drains
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible personality
