Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week assignment, nights shift, Monday-Friday, with on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures, including colon, EGD, ERCP, PEG tube, bronch, esophageal stent, and pain procedures
• Perform moderate sedation and operate EPIC charting system
• Admit and discharge patients in the perioperative area
• Participate in patient assessments to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Manage on-call duties, including up to 2 weeknights and 2 weekend days, with a 45-minute callback time
• Float to other facilities within the organization when necessary

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in endoscopy procedures and moderate sedation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with ERCP, PEG tube placement, bronchoscopies, esophageal stent placement, and pain management procedures
• Ability to perform clinical judgment and recognize changes in patient condition
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
