Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing advanced life support care.
• Operate emergency medical vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and sanitation.
• Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians and responders.
• Assist in medical scene management, including triage, treatment, and patient transport.
• Complete accurate documentation and administrative paperwork per regulatory standards.
• Participate in training and certification updates to adhere to EMS regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in Texas.
• Texas EMT-Paramedic license.
• PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) certification (can be obtained off-duty through designated providers).
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of one year of paramedic experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in emergency environments.
