• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) unit.
• Assist with and monitor a variety of cardiac procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, and device programming.
• Support case preparation, patient monitoring, and post-procedure care to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure adherence to protocols and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or a multi-state license via the Nurse Compact.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Valid radiation badge or ability to obtain one.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring.
• Familiarity with various cardiac cases such as device insertions, arrhythmia induction, and conduction studies.
• Capability to float to similar units if necessary.
