Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care nursing for cardiovascular ICU patients.
- Monitor hemodynamic status using advanced equipment including Swan-Ganz and arterial lines.
- Manage ventilator support, chest tubes, and other life-support procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Document patient progress and care interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Follow unit policies, safety protocols, and participate in weekend rotations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU).
- Ventilator management skills.
- Experience with arterial and central line management.
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or eligible.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CVICU-specific experience, including CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella devices.
- Meditech EMR experience.
- BSN degree and CCRN certification.
