Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to cardiac ICU patients, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Operate and interpret advanced monitoring equipment such as Swan Ganz catheters and arterial lines
• Assist in the recovery and management of post-CABG and other cardiac surgical patients
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including weekend shifts and biweekly weekends on call as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU
• Ventilator management skills
• Ability to perform line management (art lines, central lines, chest tubes)
• Valid RN license
• Certifications in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in CVICU or cardiac surgical recovery
• Knowledge of CVICU equipment such as GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT, and Impella
• Meditech electronic medical records experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and CCRN certification
