Job Title
• 25/26 - SPED Teachers (PK-8) - Kansas City, MO

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract with potential for permanent placement

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver instruction and assessments tailored to students’ IEPs, including modifications and accommodations
• Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers to support student learning and behavior
• Facilitate ARD meetings and develop individualized learning plans for students
• Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and services using eSPED systems
• Maintain positive relationships with students and families, ensuring a culturally responsive environment
• Support school events, meetings, and daily supervisory duties to promote a safe and inclusive school community

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Missouri Teaching Certification with appropriate certification for special education at the assigned grade level
• Demonstrated knowledge of core subject areas for assigned grades
• Special Education certification for applicable grade levels
• Satisfactory outcome of background and fingerprint checks

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior teaching experience in a K-8 special education setting
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in diverse environments
