Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Conroe, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients on a specialized medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias or emergencies quickly and effectively.
• Collect patient data through assessments and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely updates in EMR.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as paracentesis and chest tube insertions.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical Thinking and prioritization skills essential for managing acute patient conditions.
• Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit.
• Charge nurse experience.
• Ultrasound IV insertion skills.
