Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3 nights per week, night shift (12 hours per shift)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients during night shifts in a busy hospital environment
- Float between units as needed based on patient census and departmental requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality maternal care
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including shift ratios and emergency procedures
- Comply with all travel and facility-specific policies, including on-call duties and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Oregon (pending license submission acceptable)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; candidates with 1–1.5 years in high-risk/high-census L&D units may be considered
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Ability to work independently and manage night shift responsibilities effectively
- Must have reliable transportation and a vehicle for travel between facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous float experience across different hospital units and facilities
- Knowledge of high-acuity maternal care and obstetric procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work occasional holidays and weekends as required
