Key Responsibilities
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on hospitalized and ambulatory patients as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure imaging is conducted in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist radiologists with MRI procedures and maintain equipment calibration and safety checks.
- Provide excellent patient care and support throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hospital-based MRI experience.
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI (ARRT-MR), or equivalent certification such as ARMRIT or ARRT-R Radiography.
- BLS certification (or BLS within 30 days of hire).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work night shifts and handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
