Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift, Travel position, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures by preparing and handling instruments and equipment
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical tools and supplies
• Follow safety protocols and universal precautions to prevent infection and exposure
• Support the clinical team in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from a Surgical Technology program preferred
• BLS certification from AHA
• Surgical Tech certification required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital OR surgical environment
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and instrument care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
