Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-Hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Float within the PCU/IMC/Stepdown units, with potential to cover other specialized hospital departments.
• Provide patient care to adult populations in a fast-paced, acute-care environment.
• Administer IVs, perform tele-ICU monitoring, and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and patient confidentiality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact State Nursing License in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care, particularly in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV starting and tele-ICU experience.
• Ability to float across units and adapt to different patient acuity levels.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a float pool or agency nursing.
• Prior work within a Level 1 trauma or teaching hospital.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
