Schedule / Job Type
• Days, Part-time (1 shift per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the surgical team during procedures under the supervision of an RN.
• Support patient care across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and surgical instruments.
• Assist in cardiac open-heart surgeries and other areas of the operating room as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Current certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon.
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited surgical technology program, or equivalent military/training program.
• Certification as a surgical technologist by the NBSTSA or recent completion of an accredited program.
• At least 2 years of surgical technologist experience in a hospital, surgical center, or federal agency.
• One year of CVOR/Open Heart scrubbing experience or two years of acute care scrubbing.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience or training in computer applications.
