• Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location
• Round Rock, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract (13 weeks), Days shift, 8.5-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures including orthopedics, plastics, urology, neurology, and robotics.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to unit policies and guidelines.
• Support post-operative care and patient monitoring as needed.
• Participate in call rotations, including 3-5 days per month with some weekend call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certified.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant OR nursing experience.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM).
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neurology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, or robotics surgery.
• Familiarity with surgical procedures and instrumentation in a hospital OR setting.
• Experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment with a patient ratio of 1:1.
