Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit within a 30-bed hospital.
• Monitor and assess patient condition, administer medications, and document patient progress using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, ventilator management, and insertion of central lines.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS, NIHSS, BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably including ICU or Step-down/Progressive care.
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience.
• Skilled in procedures such as A-lines, dressing changes, and venipuncture.
• Outgoing personality with strong teamwork skills.
