Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Full-time, Night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on the Progressive Care Unit, including neuro and trauma patients
- Monitor patient stability and perform neuro and spinal checks
- Manage procedures such as chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, and feeding tubes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document care accurately in electronic health records (Cerner)
- Adhere to unit policies and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro and trauma care experience
- Experience with IV pumps, chest tubes, and critical care procedures
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
