Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Days and Nights available, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM for day shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM for night shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for oncology and medical-surgical patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration
• Manage patients with soft tissue malignancies and symptom management secondary to disease progression or treatment
• Monitor and manage comorbidities, adhering to infection prevention protocols and patient safety procedures
• Assist with procedures such as port access, arterial line management, blood product administration, and chest tube management
• Utilize specialized equipment including telemetry systems, bladder scanners, infusion pumps, and Stryker beds
• Ensure compliance with all safety and documentation protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• EPIC experience required
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex patient care routines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with ARDS management, high flow nasal cannula, and ABG interpretation
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and patient safety procedures
• Familiarity with GE telemetry systems and central line management

Additional Details

• Certification: BCLS required
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Must be willing to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels
• Strict compliance for Ohio fingerprinting process required prior to start
• RTO (leave request) must be specified at submission and built into the contract
• Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must complete fingerprinting locally; others will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail
• References: Two professional references, including at least one from a managerial or leadership position
• All candidates must complete fingerprinting promptly to avoid delays or cancellations
