Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Recognize and respond promptly to ECG rhythms and patient needs.
- Complete assessments and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in the specialty applying for (IMC/PCU/Stepdown).
- Current Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at the time of submission.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Current NIH certification (or be able to obtain prior to assignment).
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores.
- Able to work at least every other holiday as required.
- BCI/FBI background check completed within 48 hours of signing contract.
- Ability to pass a nicotine drug screen (negative 10-panel + nicotine).
- Up-to-date Module credentials; modules completed prior to start or at onboarding.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel experience in a healthcare setting is acceptable.
- PCU or progressive care experience is preferred but not required.
