Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing appropriate clinical procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient information accurately in EMR systems.
- Support patient recovery and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- BLS certification.
- IV Certification for LVNs.
- Experience with stroke NIH, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care preferred.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and self-motivated manner.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Prior experience in a med-surg/neuro medical unit.
- Comfortable with the use of equipment such as Welch Allyn Vital Sign, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, and CareView Virtual Sitter.
