Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract, 4 nights per week (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 70-bed rural facility, primarily in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Float to other units including ICU and pediatric/adolescent units as needed
• Collaborate with LPNs and other healthcare team members to deliver quality care
• Adhere to unit policies and protocols, including mandatory certifications and compliance requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system
• Support the facility’s patient care efforts during night shifts (6:45 pm - 7:15 am)

Required Qualifications

• West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending acceptable)
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in acute care, telemetry, or similar environments
• BLS and ACLS certifications via American Heart Association
• Ability to work night shifts including every other weekend
• Must be experienced/knowledgeable in telemetry and caring for pediatric/adolescent patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (preferred)
• Experience with Pediatrics and charge nurse responsibilities
• Prior travel nurse experience is a plus
