Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for assigned patients.
• Gather relevant data from patient charts and care team, discussing with physicians as necessary.
• Independently assess various patient types and recognize additional needs during evaluations.
• Develop, interpret, and adjust therapy goals based on patient progress.
• Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory policies.
• Identify and discuss appropriate therapy equipment with patients and their families.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate Professional License (e.g., DPT or equivalent) in the state of Texas.
• Valid BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy.
• Experience working in a swing bed or acute care setting.
