Key Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students exhibiting difficulties in language, speech, voice, and fluency.
• Support curriculum and instruction for students with disabilities to meet educational standards.
• Consult with school teams regarding students' communication skills and recommend interventions for speech-language deficiencies.
• Follow federal, state, and local procedures to identify, evaluate, and diagnose students needing speech-language services.
• Plan and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual and group needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with educational teams and parents regarding students' speech-language needs and progress.
• Attend and participate in professional learning activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathology certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and federal/state education regulations.
