Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 12-hour night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a specialized cancer center, including units such as BMT, Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, Colorectal, and Surgical Oncology.
• Float to different Medical Surgical units as needed, adhering to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and care coordination.
• Follow strict infection control and patient fall prevention procedures to ensure quality of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care during a 13-16 week assignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical or higher-level nursing experience
• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio (or eligible for licensure)
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to work night shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Ability to adhere to strict credentialing and fingerprinting compliance deadlines

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Oncology nursing experience (preferred but not required)
• Experience with specialized procedures or units in cancer care
