Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit during 12-hour night shifts (1845-0715).
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients, including those requiring drips, arterial lines, or bipap/airvo therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
• Follow facility policies, including working every other weekend and assisting with holiday coverage as scheduled.
• Float to a lesser unit if needed, with prior approval and minimal disruption.
• Complete orientation and documentation to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in a PCU or similar high-acuity setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high acuity drips.
• Knowledge of arterial line management and bipap/airvo procedures.

Additional Notes

• Orientation scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with upcoming sessions on 12/8 or 12/15.
