• Travel, 13-week contract, night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care in the ICU setting, following protocols for critical conditions.
• Monitor and operate ICU equipment including monitors, ventilators, and infusion devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage multiple critical cases, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube management, and emergency responses.

Required Qualifications

• Current or compact/state RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years recent ICU experience.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with critical thinking.
• Experience with EMR systems (preferably Meditech Expanse).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a charge nurse or in a similar multi-tasking leadership role.
• Familiarity with STEMI and stroke protocols, conscious sedation, and advanced life support procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, honest, flexible, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work efficiently with a sense of urgency when needed.
