Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to surgical patients following ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocols.
• Float within scope to other Medical Surgical/Tele floors and nearby facilities as needed.
• Adhere to charting protocols in EPIC and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain compliance with scheduling, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support hospital operations during assigned shifts, including on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license at the time of submission (compact license preferred but must be in hand prior to start).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• BCLS certification.
• Must have proper testing capability if facial hair is present.
• Valid SSN and date of birth required.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Passing compliance and background checks as per hospital policy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Prior experience caring for surgical patients following ERAS protocols.
• Ability to float within hospital units and to affiliate hospitals.
