Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a lesser acuity ICU, including step-down and post-surgical spine patients
• Manage patients with cardiac, stroke, and telehealth needs in a procedural and orthopedic environment
• Collaborate with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 to ensure quality care
• Float to other floors as needed, adhering to hospital policies
• Complete all required documentation and certifications prior to shift

Required Qualifications

• Illinois Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Submit a passing EKG test at the time of application
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a hospital setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiac, stroke, or telemetry units
• Familiarity with orthopedic and spine post-operative care
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across departments
