• Travel Contract, Night Shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting, including nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, and ventilator management.
• Operate and monitor bedside respiratory equipment such as servo U ventilators, Avea ventilators, and Vapotherm devices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Document patient treatments and responses accurately in the medical records system.
• Assist in procedures like ABGs, BiPAP, HFNC, and bronch assist.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license or equivalent.
• Certification as a CRT or RRT.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PICU or NICU ventilator management.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
• Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability.
