Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for patients in the operating room
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including hearts, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, and robotics cases
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety throughout surgeries
- Adhere to hospital protocols and documentation procedures via Meditech system
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Maintain certification and compliance with hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Strong procedural skills in surgical settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Level I trauma centers and complex surgical procedures
- Familiarity with advanced equipment including DaVinci and Mako robotic systems
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
