Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (night and day rotations)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Tele environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognize and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and ongoing certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience; travel experience applicable.
• Ohio license or valid compact licensure in hand at time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Completion of background checks (BCI/FBI) within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Negative drug screen (10-panel plus nicotine/cotinine) within 12 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting within a similar role.
• Knowledge of hospital electronic medical records systems.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
