Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, rotating day/night schedule

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations with various cancer diagnoses, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety.
• Administer chemotherapy and other antineoplastic treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans throughout various stages of treatment and transition to end-of-life care.
• Maintain strict infection prevention protocols and implement fall prevention strategies.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
• Experience interpreting telemetry monitoring data.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology certification (e.g., ONS Chemotherapy Certification) preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong skills in computerized charting systems, preferably Epic.

• Shift information: Day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with 12-hour shifts.
• Flexible scheduling with self-scheduling requests.
• Floating to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed.
• Strict adherence to credentialing and fingerprinting deadlines to ensure timely placement.
• Travel assignments require proper documentation, references, and compliance with Ohio licensing and fingerprinting protocols.

Note: All candidates must be aware of the urgency associated with Ohio fingerprinting processes and complete all requirements promptly after signing the contract.
