Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients across all age groups.
- Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and implement treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently using electronic health records.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, demonstrating clinical competence and crisis management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or equivalent certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
- Experience handling high-acuity and trauma patients.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced emergency settings.
