Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract, night shift (12 hours per shift), 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care in the ICU setting, including monitoring and managing critically ill patients
• Float between ICU units and affiliated hospitals as needed, ensuring optimal coverage across units
• Follow established protocols and maintain documentation via electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient management
• Adhere to hospital policies, including certifications and shift requirements, to ensure compliance and quality care

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet unit ratios
• Willingness to float within hospital and to affiliate facilities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a float pool or multi-unit hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
• Availability to work at least every other weekend and holidays as required
