Key Responsibilities

• Assist the obstetrical team in patient care by performing delegated tasks to provide basic nursing support.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for obstetrical procedures.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with patient transfers and personal care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Support surgical team members by anticipating needs and ensuring sterile techniques are followed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Completion of competency-based skills checklist.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One year of Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting or with obstetrical patients.
• Familiarity with surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
