• Full-time, Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation therapy to inpatient populations within a Level II Trauma Center
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 patients, focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills and mobility
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Utilize adaptive equipment and perform pre-discharge planning to optimize patient recovery
• Document assessments, evaluations, plans of care, and progress notes accurately in Cerner system
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety, injury prevention, and effective patient/family education

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in acute care or inpatient rehab settings
• Active Illinois occupational therapy license at the time of start
• Current BLS and NBCOT certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and float within scope as needed
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with acute care hospital settings and trauma centers
• Demonstrated skills in transfer techniques, patient education, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system and documentation procedures
