Speech Language Pathologist Therapist

Job Title

• Speech-Language Pathologist, GA - Hybrid (3 days in-person / 2 days remote)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, school-based position with a 5-day work week, 8-hour shifts, on-site 3 days and remote 2 days

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement speech-language therapy programs tailored to individual student needs
• Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine student eligibility for services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs based on student strengths and needs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local policies
• Provide direct and indirect therapy to students with speech or language deficits
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid billing records
• Serve as part of the multidisciplinary team in the referral, assessment, and intervention processes

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Georgia licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Adherence to professional and ethical standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with children with disabilities
