Job Title
- Speech-Language Pathologist, GA - Hybrid (3 days in-person / 2 days remote)
Location
- Griffin, Georgia
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, school-based position with a 5-day work week, 8-hour shifts, on-site 3 days and remote 2 days
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement speech-language therapy programs tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine student eligibility for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs based on student strengths and needs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local policies
- Provide direct and indirect therapy to students with speech or language deficits
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid billing records
- Serve as part of the multidisciplinary team in the referral, assessment, and intervention processes
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Georgia licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Adherence to professional and ethical standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children with disabilities
