Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department.
• Triage and assess patients with a variety of acute conditions, including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and psychiatric emergencies.
• Perform procedures such as U/S IV insertion, IO insertion, laceration repair, EKG, and other acute care interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in EMR system and ensure compliance with department policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• At least 2 years of ER experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (mandatory for contract roles).
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and dependability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One or more years of ER experience with health system employment.
• Additional certifications such as MOAB, EKG interpretation skills.
• Experience with emergency procedures like trauma, stroke care, and U/S IV insertion.

• Shift Hours: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Shifts per week: 3 days
