- Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive home health nursing care to patients in their homes within the Franklin/Macon County area
- Manage a patient load of approximately 5-6 visits per day, ensuring quality care and adherence to treatment plans
- Document patient care accurately using the Home Health Care Business (HCHB) documentation system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient services and ensure compliance with agency standards
- Maintain the required certifications and adhere to agency policies and dress code (navy or navy/white uniform)
- Reliable transportation is necessary for patient visitations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Home health and hospice experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a home health or related setting
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a flexible schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with the Franklin or Macon County populations
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Familiarity with home health equipment and procedures
