Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services across acute care hospital units, including inpatient floors and rehab settings.
- Assess and develop treatment plans for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Participate in patient evaluations, documentation, and progress reports using Epic charting system.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Flexibility to float within hospital departments and nearby affiliate facilities as needed.
- Work scheduled weekends, including one weekend day every other week (typically Sunday).
Required Qualifications
- Valid California occupational therapist license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care or inpatient setting.
- Cataloged experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records.
- Willingness to work holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Ability to adapt to a block schedule or flexible hours at manager’s discretion.
- Prior experience floating between hospital units.
