Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care in the Operating Room for the assigned patient population.
• Ensure delivery of quality, safe, and efficient care in accordance with unit standards.
• Demonstrate professional performance aligned with organizational goals and mission.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote respectful and considerate treatment of patients and families.
• Handle emergency and crisis situations effectively.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and certification standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of nursing experience in surgical or operating room settings.
• Knowledge of bloodborne pathogen standards applicable to OR environments.
• Strong communication skills appropriate for patient and team interactions.
