Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a step-down unit with a focus on acute care.
• Titrate vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, and manage trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes.
• Support patient monitoring and interventions requiring high clinical expertise.
• Document patient data accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license in Missouri or Illinois (compact license accepted with proper verification).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in a step-down or critical care unit.
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to work 3–4 night 12-hour shifts per week.
• Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months.
• Full compliance with hospital and agency onboarding requirements, including background checks and immunizations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Previous experience managing vasopressors, sedation, and complex medications.
• Experience with external pacemakers, chest tubes, and other advanced bedside procedures.
