Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients, including med/surg and neurosurgery cases
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using standard telemetry equipment
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with care team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or the ability to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/telemetry units
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients simultaneously
• Proficiency in standard nursing skills such as IV insertions, urinary catheterization, and medication administration
• Experience with Meditech EMR system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of neurosurgery or orthopedic nursing experience
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment
